FutureDesktop - Installing Ubuntu, Ten steps to success
There are a lot of installation guides for Linux out there, some are easy to follow some not too much, I have found this one because it link back to this site in the last line of the guide.
It is a step by step guide all with screenshots, it is also really easy to follow.
It uses automatix which I have read is not too good, I have never test it, but I prefer to install things by myself, but that is me, I like it that way because I like to be to one in control of my system.
The installation is divided in 10 steps, read them all and the follow them according to your needs.
This site has a lot of references to other sites where good Ubuntu info can be found.
