How to install GAG (Graphical boot manager) for Dual boot or triple

If you need to have a system dual boot, being this ones Microsoft, Linux or xBSD you can use GAG, which is a graphical easy to use, easy to install boot loader.

It can work from the Hard Disk or Diskette.

This software installs on the 32 KB of the boot sector, when used with Linux it needs you to install Lilo or Grub on the first sector of the Linux partition.

It can later boot a system from Hard Disk up to 4 TByte and even from USB sticks.

How to install it

Using Linux

Insert the formatted floppy in disk drive and type

dd if=disk.dsk of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 count=2880

If you prefer, you can do too:

cat disk.dsk > /dev/fd0

In other UNIX systems is possible you must use something different to /dev/fd0.

Using Windows 95/98/Me

Insert the formatted disk in your floppy drive.

Open the folder where you unzipped the GAG's zip file and double-click the icon INSTALL.BAT

Using Windows XP/NT/2000

Insert the formatted disk in your floppy drive.

Open the folder where you unzipped the GAG's zip file and double-click the icon INSTALL_XP.CMD

Installing on a CD

Just file cdrom.iso onto your CD, and it is ready to boot.
